Oahu Beach Elopement | Hawaii Elopement Photographer | COREY + BOUQUET
Bouquet (what a cool name right?) and her man Corey were such a joy to meet. We met up on a Saturday at a spot that was actually pretty crowded for their gorgeous elopement photoshoot. I will admit it was a little intimidating for me to shoot with so many people around so I can only imagine how they must have felt in her wedding dress! Luckily I managed to find some good angles and work on my editing skills to make it look like we had the place all to ourselves.
Once they got all dressed up and ready we made our way over to this super cool (and tbh kind of creepy!) tunnel/cave! I am a wee bit claustrophobic so I took a deep breath and ventured inside to grab this shot. I will do anything to get the best shot possible short of something that will kill me.. though I thought I might take a rocky tumble down the cliffs at a couple points during this session haha! More on that later, just check out this gorgeous shot though! Worth it!
Amazing right? Next we ventured up the side of the cliff a little bit. They were perfectly safe of course, but in order to get the best angle of them I had to scramble around on the gravelly hillside. To make matters worse I was in slippers (flip flops) so my choice of footwear didn’t exactly lend itself to the task haha! However, my life was nowhere near in danger, if I fell the worse that would happen would just be that I might get a little scraped up. Once again I went for it and it was so worth it to get these gorgeous shots of them!!
After I almost died (kidding!) We made our way down to a nice little spot where they could enjoy a little champagne to celebrate, cute right!? I’ve got half the mind to just bring a bottle of champagne to every session with me from now on! Check it out:
While they enjoyed their champagne and love for each other I took a few moments to capture a few small details.
After champagne I grabbed a few bridal details and that was a wrap for the elopement! It was such a gorgeous day and I enjoyed capturing their love so much!
To wrap things up Bouquet and Corey got back in their street clothes and they were just so cute we had to snap a few couples photos to end the session. We had so much fun with these! I love making my couples play games with each other to get them laughing and I had such a good time doing just that getting them belly-laughing!
